Love to see it! This is such a vast improvement from the first comic! I’m glad you kept with the notebook style because it’s fun! Paneling and backgrounds have also improved a lot!
If I had any crit, I would just do away with the narration. While exposition can be helpful, some of it is rather redundant and obvious. I’d rather you show us that Sue has a crush on Todd over telling us. Show, don’t tell!

I actually agree that some of the narration was a bit much. I ended up cutting some of it for the official release. It kinda got in the way of giving Todd a better character introduction too. I do feel that some narration is needed, but I'll try not to lean too heavily into it for Chapter 2. I'll probably do away entirely with narration by the time we get to Chapter 3.

Great work man! I like the simple slice of life style you have going. That being said, I think there’s some pages where you’re overusing the potential that can be used for full page panels, that should be emphasized for dramatic moments or making a large establishing shot. I can see why you did it to meet the page limit, but I think when it comes to comedy wide shots make moments funnier and you can DEFINITELY add more panels to the pages. I’d love to see MORE!
Amazing job Tama! I love the writing and the artstyle as it feels VERY Scott pilgrim(and I mean that in a good way!!) that being said, with regards to word bubbles I would maybe shrink the text in the bubbles since I feel they’re a bit cramped! Typically with word bubbles you’d shrink the text enough so that an “H” would fit into the corners. I’m hooked by the sudden twist at the end lol. Looking forward to the rest of it!
PAM THIS IS AMAZING!! I absolutely adore it and this was such a fun and cute story! Even though you chose to do it in B&W and then transition to color, part of me would LOVE to see the B&W pages in color(perhaps minimal color?) to help more with clarity. Your paneling is my FAVORITE and makes it so fun to read. Amazing work as usual!!!
